Vermelle Greene has been an educator for more than 35 years, teaching as well as administrating at the elementary, middle and high school levels. Her experience extends to the corporate level where she was a Customer Education Representative with the Xerox Corporation. She has presented seminars for numerous organizations including the National Middle Schools Association and the National Association of Elementary School Principals. In addition, Vermelle has conducted workshops and online classes for hundreds of teachers and administrators on the east coast from New York to Florida.
Vermelle retired from Prince George’s County (Maryland) Public Schools, then went on to become Founding Principal of S.A.C.R.E.D. Life Academy for Boys in 2001. The innovative curriculum focuses on understanding and accommodating the academic, social, developmental, and physical needs of young men in kindergarten through 8th grade.
Vermelle and her husband Vernon have two married children and six wonderful grandchildren. They live in rural Charles County, Maryland, just 35 minutes from the Nation’s Capital.
