The Atlanta Public School district held two staff development days on Monday, October 12, 2009, and Tuesday, October 13, 2009.  The staff at the B.E.S.T. Academy experienced two-full days of hands-on, collaborative professional development on topics including single-gender strategies, reading across the curriculum, effectively analyzing and utilizing student data, and increasing rigor in instruction.
